VALE, NC, March 1, 2016 – Houser Transport, Inc. located in Vale, NC acquired the business of Cal State Express, with operating terminals in Rancho Dominguez, CA and Oakland, CA. Sam C. Houser, CEO of Houser Transport, Inc. stated “With a strong customer base and dedicated staff this new business will add to our footprint in California by adding pickup, consolidation and delivery within the state of CA to our menu of services for our customers”

The scope of Houser Transport, Inc. continues to broaden to meet the needs of our ever expanding customer base. In addition to the recently acquired business, Houser Transport, Inc. operates warehousing /service centers located in Conover, NC and Ontario, CA.

Houser Transport Participates in City of Hope Golf Tournament

On June 8, 2015 in Coto de Caza, California, the Houser Transport sales team attended the 24th annual West Coast Golf & Tennis Tournament to help raise money for advanced medical research and excellent patient care at the City of Hope. The tournament met its goal in raising $2 million for The City of Hope, a cancer facility motivated to transform scientific discoveries into enhanced treatments and prevention plans for cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other critical diseases.
